NORWOOD, Mass .– (BUSINESS WIRE) – Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI) today announced the first in a new line of RF transceivers that offer the highest dynamic range on the market and are suitable for a myriad of commercial and military applications. The ADRV9002 high-performance RF transceiver is ideal for mission-critical communications applications such as first-aid radios, private LTE (Long-Term Evolution) networks, and satellite communications where size, weight, and performance are important design considerations. The RF transceiver is the latest addition to ADI’s award-winning RadioVerse ™ design and ecosystem.

“Mission-critical communications networks are critical to our security,” said Joe Barry, vice president of Analog Devices’ wireless communications business unit. “The difficulty for these networks to decipher complex signals increases with the increasing population density of the radio spectrum. The ADRV9002 RF transceiver can correctly decode a signal in a heavily congested spectrum. This helps customers develop radio platforms that have performance and performance scalable for a wide range of commercial and military applications. ”

Features and benefits of the ADRV9002 RF transceiver

  • Offers the best dynamic range in its class and is capable of decoding broadband and challenging narrowband operations in a single device

  • Works from 30 MHz to 6 GHz

  • Offers a dynamic range of the receiver of -150 dBc / Hz and a highly linear transmitter

  • First radio transceiver for narrowband and conventional broadband signals from 12 kHz to 40 MHz

  • Can process voice, data and image or video signals

  • Includes digital signal radio correction algorithms, AGC, DPD, frequency hopping and channel filtering

  • Ability to dynamically adjust performance and performance
