AT&T is suing Honolulu landlords for termination of antenna lease

Law360 (Jan. 22, 2021, 9:20 p.m. EST) – AT&T filed a lawsuit against a Honolulu church Thursday, alleging the church’s pastor wrongly terminated a lease that allows him to use the rooftop communications infrastructure the church maintain to provide wireless services to the city.

The telecommunications giant told a federal court in Hawaii that Calvary Chapel Kaneohe Inc. and its pastor JD Farag had given it by the end of the month to help rid the roof of the antennas and equipment that support its network and a communication platform for public safety lease extensions secured for the roof until 2025.
