BAE Methods delivers IFF antenna arrays to the USA and Australia – Digital Battlespace

The US Naval Air Systems Command issues contract amendments for the IFF program OE-120B / UPX.

BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems is supplying antenna arrays and retrofit kits to the USN and the Australian Government in support of IFF’s OE-120B / UPX program.

Work on the US Naval Air Systems Command’s $ 13.62 million contract amendment is expected to be completed by May 2024.

The modification provides the ability to procure five OE-120B antenna groups, three retrofit kits, three installation and checkout kits, and one delta installation and checkout kit for the USN. and an OE-120B antenna array and retrofit kit for Australia.

OE-120B / UPX is an advanced electronically controlled on-board antenna array used with identification and air traffic management systems. The antenna array supports a variety of systems including IFF, secondary surveillance radar, and air traffic control radar.
