Fleet Picks Swissto12 provides additively manufactured all-metal patch antennas
Fleet space technologies has selected Swissto12 Delivery of additively manufactured all-metal patch antennas for satellites C4 and C5. Swissto12, which develops advanced radio frequency (RF) products for aerospace applications, announced in a February 9 press release that this delivery will be the first of its kind.
The order includes production with the patented and space-qualified additive manufacturing processes from Swissto12, which have been specially optimized for RF applications. According to Fleet Space, the Centauri 4 or C4 payload will provide the most powerful communication nanosatellites in Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) and connect millions of gateways for the Internet of Things (IoT) market.
