GBT begins long-range check section for its long-range radio system

SAN DIEGO, Sept. 21, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – GBT Technologies Inc. (OTC PINK: GTCH) (“GBT” or the “Company”) begins long-range testing of its Infinia radio system. The tests are carried out for voice and digital data communications, nationwide. In this test phase, the coverage of dead zones with fixed coordinate repeaters is evaluated. Infinia (code name of the internal project) is a data and voice communication system that works via HF radio (radio frequency) waves. The system communicates through an ionospheric propagation environment to reach very great distances. A jump zone, also known as a dead zone, is the distance between the point at which a radio signal was sent and the point at which it was received after it was broken back from the ionosphere, in such areas, transmissions cannot be received a solution for covering dead zones, which is a static geo-referenced system of a repeater to ensure continuous communication at all times. The repeater system works as a relay and automatically switches the frequencies according to the ionospheric conditions in order to ensure stable communication between mobile and base units. The system is tested with different antenna types, including Whip, NVIS and loop antennas. Since ionospheric conditions play an important role in regulating skip zones, intensive testing is carried out in all terrains and various weather conditions. The system is intended to be used for a wide variety of civil and military applications, including remote telemedicine, emergency services and internet services.

The Infinia system includes repeaters that aim to cover dead zones by automatically switching to the correct frequencies according to ionospheric conditions and always maintaining continuous communication. For example a communication from Los Angeles to Denver Colorado can be established via a repeater unit in Seattle Washington. We will also evaluate the system with different antenna types, positions and landscape conditions.
