L3Harris develops Warfighter Tech Simulation, check tools for the Air Drive


L3Harris Technologies has received a potential seven-year contract for $ 55 million to assist the US Air Force in building platforms to test warfighter systems or technology designed for critical and urgent mission requirements.

The company will provide simulation and test bench equipment for an integrated demonstration and application laboratory at the Wright-Patterson AF base in Ohio under the perpetual / perpetual contract, the Department of Defense said Monday.

The Air Force Research Laboratory received an offer for the project and, at the time of award, committed $ 2.8 million from industry research, development, testing and evaluation funds for fiscal 2020.

DoD expects the contract work to be completed by August 18, 2027.
