MACOM expands the GaAs MMIC portfolio with two broadband energy amplifier merchandise

LOWELL, Mass .– (BUSINESS WIRE) – MACOM Technology Solutions Inc. (“MACOM”), a leading provider of semiconductor solutions, today announced two new broadband MMIC power amplifier products, MAAM-011291-DIE and MAAM-011277-DIE, at the Virtual International Microwave Symposium (IMS).

The MAAM-011277-DIE is a broadband 0.25 watt power amplifier. This power amplifier has a linear gain of 22dB and 25dBm P3dB with 17% PAE while biased to 5V. The product is ideally used as a driver amplifier for applications in the range from 20 GHz to 45 GHz.

The MAAM-011291-DIE is a broadband 1W power amplifier MMIC chip with 19dB linear gain, 30dBm P3dB and 15% PAE at 5V bias. This product can be used as a driver or power amplifier in applications with 20 GHz can be used up to 45 GHz.
