MatSing companion for Allegiant Stadium with lens antennas


When Allegiant Stadium was preparing to host soccer games for the first time, the Las Vegas Raiders sought to build a premier fan experience in the NFL that would match the stadium’s new look. A key component of this fan experience would be to provide the stadium with an affordable, high-performance mobile broadband service to meet today’s streaming and social media sharing needs. Although fans are not yet returning to the Allegiant Stadium seats due to COVID-19 precautions, the Las Vegas Raiders have selected MatSing, the world’s leading manufacturer of high capacity lens antennas, to be able to create a smoother internet experience to meet these modern demands on fans when they return.

Matt Pasco, vice president of information technology for the Raiders, said he had seen the performance of MatSing technology in other sports stadiums like the Amalie Arena in Tampa Bay and knew he had to install it in Allegiant Stadium to keep it up to date its NFL stages. “Our vision was to provide a league-leading mobile broadband service without cluttering the Allegiant Stadium with unsightly antennas, and we knew that a line-of-sight model built into the stadium’s catwalk was key. After using MatSing’s technology at other stadiums, we knew it was the technology provider who matched our concept of performance and aesthetics, allowing guests at the Allegiant Stadium to share their experiences and interact from the stands like never before before. “

MatSing has developed a new patented solution that surpasses traditional antenna technology as it understands that mobile broadband technology has advanced and coverage in larger venues and events has become more in demand as people’s cell phones have increased performance. Based on a theory from the 1940s known as the Luneberg lens, the multi-beam lens antennas take advantage of the different shape of the lens, which can focus radio frequencies from any direction.
