Miami County Sheriff checks radio system with black SUVs black

MIAMI COUNTY, Kan. – The Miami County Sheriff’s office will be testing their new radio systems over the next few weeks and will let people know in advance if they notice any strange activity outside their homes.

The tests require that every half square mile in the county be tested, which means they have to drive, drive driveways and turn around roads with minimal maintenance.

The sheriff’s office will use Black For Explorers to run the tests.

What looks like suspicious activity will likely be the black SUVs making sure the new system works.

The Miami County Sheriff’s Office has asked those who are concerned about activity in the area to call 913-294-3232.
