Murrieta website is to be added to the general public security radio system

The County of Riverside’s Public Safety Enterprise Communications radio system will add a remote simulcast facility in Murrieta. A 5-0 vote by the Riverside County Board of Supervisors on June 15 approved a letter of intent between the county and the city of Murrieta to add the location at Block 26500 on Pabesu Road. Regulatory action also approved an amendment order to the county’s contract with Motorola Solutions, Inc. to add the six-channel site. The Public Safety Enterprise Communications radio system went into operation in January 2014. The county sheriff’s department and various fire departments were the original partners, and other cities later joined the PSEC system.
